What does no KYC mean for a VPS?

No KYC means the host rents you a server without checking who you are. KYC (Know Your Customer) is an identity check: an ID upload, a selfie, a video call or a proof of address.

A no-KYC VPS is a server you rent without proving who you are: no ID document, no selfie and no proof of address.

Is OffshoreKVM the cheapest VPS without KYC?

Every OffshoreKVM plan costs at least 25% less than the cheapest comparable plan of 24 no-KYC crypto VPS hosts checked on 29 October 2026. KVM 1 costs $3.08 for 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM and 20 GB NVMe. The cheapest comparable plan was Kyun at $4.12. KVM 4 costs $8.25, against $11.00 at VSYS Host.

Three offers sit lower and are left out of that comparison, for stated reasons:

  • HOSTKEY sells 1 vCPU / 1 GB / 40 GB for €2.46 ($2.74) a month, but runs mandatory KYC.
  • VPSDEN works out to $4.10 a month for 1 vCPU / 2 GB / 30 GB, but its shortest term is 3 months.
  • Cloudzy shows $3.48 for 1 vCPU / 1 GB / 25 GB, but its FAQ ties the 50% discount to paying a year upfront.

Every tier and its reference price is on how much an offshore VPS costs at OffshoreKVM. The whole survey is the offshore VPS price index.

What do no-KYC hosts still ask for?

Most no-KYC hosts still ask for an email, and some ask for a name and an address. 28 of the 36 hosts require an email address to sign up. Only seven let you skip it: Servury, SporeStack and Kyun need none, while Njalla, NiceVPS, VPSDEN and TLDBunker make it optional.

  • Name and address: BuyVM requires a real name and a residential address that match the payment. SwissLayer, KoDDoS, Ultahost, OffshoreDedi and CryptoVPS.host ask for them on their signup forms.
  • Payment checks: VSYS Host reviews each order by hand and can ask for proof that you own the paying account.
  • Processor rules: OrangeWebsite and HOSTKEY warn that their crypto processors can request ID.

Hosts that need none of the three are listed under can I buy a VPS without ID verification, a phone number or an email.

Which rules still apply at OffshoreKVM without KYC?

Without KYC, OffshoreKVM still enforces an acceptable use policy, a sanctions check and an age limit.

  • Forbidden uses: No spam or bulk email, no phishing, no malware or botnet control, no DDoS or other attacks, no scanning or brute-forcing of other people’s systems, no booter or stresser services, no carding or fraud, no child sexual abuse material, no cryptocurrency mining, and no service to sanctioned people or companies. The full list is under what is not allowed on an OffshoreKVM VPS.
  • Countries not served: Not available to people or companies in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Belarus, China, Yemen or Western Sahara, or in the occupied regions of Ukraine.
  • Sanctions screening: Incoming payments are checked against public sanctions lists of blockchain addresses; a payment from a listed address is not credited.
  • Age: Accounts are for people aged 18 or over.
  • Copyright notices: DMCA ignored: we do not act on DMCA notices or other foreign copyright notices. We answer only to Panamanian law and to orders of Panamanian courts. See what DMCA ignored means for an offshore VPS.
