When OffshoreKVM credits days back, where the money goes, which part of a top-up comes back in crypto, and how to ask.

**Quick answer — Does OffshoreKVM give refunds?**

Yes, in defined cases. If a VPS cannot be set up, or does not run and support cannot fix it, the days it did not run go back to your balance. Balance never expires. Top-ups are not paid out unless the law requires it; the part added only to reach the minimum top-up comes back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC, as long as it is unspent. Credited days go to your OffshoreKVM balance, not to a wallet, and no KYC is needed to ask.

## 1. When do days go back to my balance?

Days go back to your balance in two cases, and only in these two:

- **The VPS cannot be set up**, for example because the location you chose cannot take new servers. The VPS is not created, and its full price stays on your balance.
- **The VPS does not run, and support cannot fix it.** The days it did not run go back to your balance. One day is worth 1/30 of the plan price, because a plan pays for 30 days.

The table shows how the rule applies in common cases.

| What happens | Result |
| --- | --- |
| You order KVM 4 at $8.25, and its location is full by the time your payment is confirmed | No VPS is created. $8.25 stays on your balance, and you can order again elsewhere. |
| Your KVM 2 at $4.92 runs for 10 days, then stops, and support cannot fix it | The 20 days it did not run go back to your balance: 20/30 of $4.92. |
| You delete your KVM 1 after 12 days | No credit. Deleting a VPS ends it with the days left on it. |
| Your VPS is suspended for sending spam | No credit. A suspension for a breach of the acceptable use policy is not a refund case. |
| Auto-renew is off, or your balance is too low, when the 30 days end | The VPS is suspended and its disk kept for 7 days, then deleted. Nothing more is charged, and nothing is credited. |

## 2. Where does a refund go?

Credited days go to your OffshoreKVM balance, in US dollars, as soon as support confirms them. Credit on your balance does not expire and renews any of your VPS. When a top-up is only made to reach the minimum, the unspent part comes back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC. The rest of a balance is not paid out unless the law requires it.

The balance pays for any plan on the [OffshoreKVM pricing page](https://offshorekvm.com/pricing/ "OffshoreKVM plans and prices per 30 days"), in any of the four locations.

## 3. Can I get crypto back from a top-up?

Top-ups are not paid out unless the law requires it, with one exception: the part added only to reach the $1 minimum top-up. That part comes back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC, as long as it is unspent.

Since 3 November 2026 the minimum is $1, below the price of every plan. A top-up made for a plan is set to the plan price, so nothing is added to reach the minimum; the exception only matters for an order that would cost less than $1.

| What you paid | What can come back in USDT or USDC |
| --- | --- |
| A top-up for an order of KVM 1 at $3.08 | Nothing in crypto: the top-up equals the plan price, above the $1 minimum. Days a VPS could not run come back to your balance under section 1. |
| More than the plan price, for an order of KVM 4 at $8.25 | Nothing in crypto: the part above $8.25 is ordinary balance, which never expires. |
| $1 or more with no plan in the order | Nothing. No part was added only to reach the minimum, so the whole amount is balance. |
| Any top-up, when you ask 45 days after paying | Nothing. The 30-day window has closed; the amount stays on your balance and never expires. |

## 4. How do I ask for a refund?

Refund requests go by email. No ID or documents are needed.

1. **Write to support** — Email support@offshorekvm.com with the subject "Refund request". If your account has an email address, write from it.
2. **Identify the payment** — Give the order reference (ORD-…) and the transaction ID (TXID) of the payment. Never send your account number. Nobody from our team will ever ask for your account number, your root password or your private SSH key, by email or in a chat.
3. **Say what you want back** — For days of a VPS that failed, give its IP address and what went wrong. For the minimum top-up part, give a USDT or USDC address and its network.
4. **Wait for the answer** — A person answers support emails within 12 hours, seven days a week, including help with SSH keys, reinstalls and firewall rules.

## 5. What is not refundable?

- The balance from top-ups, apart from the minimum top-up part of section 3, unless the law requires a payout.
- The days left on a VPS that you delete.
- The days left on a VPS suspended for a breach of the [acceptable use policy](https://offshorekvm.com/acceptable-use/ "What you can and cannot run on an OffshoreKVM VPS").
- Data on a VPS deleted after its 7-day keep period. No automatic backups are included: keep your own copies of anything that matters.
- Network fees you paid when you sent crypto.
- A payment from an address on a sanctions list. On every coin we take except Monero, the address a payment comes from is looked up on public sanctions lists of blockchain addresses, and a payment from a listed address is not credited. A Monero payment hides that address, so the lookup has nothing to compare.
- Crypto sent on the wrong network or to the wrong address: a blockchain transaction cannot be reversed.

## 6. Can I file a chargeback on a crypto payment?

No. A crypto payment is final once the blockchain confirms it, so there is no chargeback route. This refund policy is the only way to get money back, and every request goes by email to support@offshorekvm.com. The [terms of service](https://offshorekvm.com/terms/ "OffshoreKVM terms of service under the law of Panama") include this policy.

## 7. Changes to this policy

We can update this policy. The date at the top shows the version in force, and a change applies to payments made after that date.
